Matala mats filter mats are filter materials made from coiled strands of polypropylene and available in various densities with a high permeability. The different mats can be used successively or in separate filter chambers. No other filter medium can do this step by step filtering so efficiently. Matala captures large to small dirt particles and yet guarantees a very free flow without the formation of ‘false channels’ where the water could flow untreated.
