In many sectors – such as the food industry – aeration of process water plays a crucial role in the production process. Consider, for example, the biological treatment of residual water. Traditional systems such as plate aeration or blowers still serve, but are often large, noisy and energy-intensive.
What is a submersible aerator?
This compact and low-noise propeller pump mixes and aerates water at the same time. Using the venturi effect, a negative pressure is created in the chamber behind the propeller, which draws in air and distributes it in the form of microbubbles into the water through the specially designed propeller impeller impeller. This ensures high oxygen transfer and uniform mixing.

Why switch to this system?
Lower energy consumption
Because the pump operates directly below the water surface, low blow-in pressure is required to pump air deep into the water. As a result, less motor power is sufficient – and you’ll see that directly reflected on your energy bill.
Efficient oxygen transfer
The microbubbles rise slowly and spread widely in the tank. This maximizes oxygen uptake without waste.

Compact and low maintenance
Unlike traditional aeration systems, the aerator is small in size and easy to install and maintain. No intensive infrastructure required.
Lower installation and operational costs
Less energy, easier maintenance and simple set-up: this means lower total costs from installation to use.
Application in the food
resources industry and beyond
This technology is particularly used in water treatment for the food industry, but other sectors also benefit from the efficient operation and low operating costs of this aeration solution.
