Movement & additional aeration in the ponds<\/h3>\n\n

AquaZoo was looking for a technique that would further improve water quality. In short, they wanted more movement & aeration in the ponds. <\/p>\n\n

There are several water features in the park, each requiring a different approach. Therefore, we selected an appropriate installation for each water feature. <\/p>\n\n

The seal pond, for example, is equipped with an AUGA MegaFlow Combi system: a floating aggregate consisting of a mixer and an aerator. The mixer agitates the water over a longer distance; the aerator is positioned below the mixer and introduces a large amount of oxygen into the volume flow. <\/p>\n\n

With a total power of only 2.6 kW, this achieves a working zone of more than 90 meters. At the time of filming, the installation was off because young were born. We were allowed to briefly put the MegaFlow into operation, the result is immediately noticeable. <\/p>\n\n

With AUGA’s compact plants, problems such as algae growth and smelly water are permanently solved. This not only makes the animals at AquaZoo very happy, but helps the entire underwater world! <\/p>\n\n

AUGA: the specialist in improving water quality in public waters<\/h3>\n\n

Standing – and often shallow – water can be a source of nuisance with rising temperatures. Lack of oxygen, excessive algae growth or smelly water are increasingly common problems in cities, parks, campgrounds and other recreational areas. <\/p>\n\n

AUGA builds propeller pumps in floating and stationary versions. These are aerators and mixers in one, moving and aerating large bodies of water with little power. The propeller pumps are crucial for improving water quality: it ensures better biodegradation of organic substances in the water as well as restoring oxygen balance. <\/p>\n\n
