Skimmers

Skimmers quickly and effectively remove the surface dirt that has been blown into your pond or swimming pond. Usually skimmers are equipped with their own pump and since they are on all day, it is better to use a pump with low energy consumption. Skimmers are available in a wall version (ie outside the pond) or in a floating or standing version in the pond. When installing it is important to pay attention to the flow direction of the water so that the surface dirt floats towards the skimmer.

Skimmers are easy to maintain by regularly emptying the collection basket with collected dirt. Furthermore, the skimmer pump should be checked occasionally for contamination and cleaned and to prevent freezing, skimmers are stopped in winter.
